Superior No.71 No.71 is an extremely versatile solder flux, but due to its chemical make up it must be used with care. If you have a hard time soldering metals like Stainless, Monel, Inconel and other hard to solder metals, No.71 may be the flux to use. Exposure to skin and eyes must be avoided. Fumes from soldering with the flux also must be vented so breathing the fumes are avoided. As with any chemical compound care must be taken in handling and using them. With proper handling and use there is no problem using the flux. The flux does not contain any chemicals that are considered a Carcinogen or Potential Carcinogen. The main concern is with skin, or eye exposure and breathing vapors. Just observe safe handing and use. See the MSDS for Health Hazards |
