Soldering/Tinning Flux Liquid
Rubyfluid® is a general purpose soldering flux for copper,
brass, tin, galvanized tin, mild steel, stained glass.

Contains Zinc Chloride
To remove excess flux wash finished work with warm/hot water
We recommend using solid wire solder with this flux,
this will give a stronger and cleaner joint.
Not recommended for Electronics, or Model RR Track
Use Superior No.30 for Electronics & Model RR Track
Use Superior No.71 and 78 for Stainless and other Hard to Solder Metals.

Rubyfluid®
Rubyfluix® is a good general purpose soldering flux to use around the house, farm or business for soldering.
We DO NOT recommend using Rubyfluid® for Electronics or Model RR Track. The flux is corrosive and it can ruin electronics.
The absolute best flux for electronics and model RR Track is Supersafe® No.30. When heated properly it is completely neutralized and will not corrode like chloride or acid flux.
Rubyfluid will solder some stainless steels but for best results we recommend Superior No.71 or No.78 which are a much better flux for stainless and other hard to solder metals.
We now offer Rubyfluid® flux. Superior Flux purchased Rubyfluid® at the end of 2010. It has been used extensively for roofing and stained glass, plus general household soldering
